Five fall curb appeal projects to tackle now
Summer is fading into autumn, which means your summery wreath and gorgeous flowers and plants will soon fade. But that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice curb appeal!
Fall is a great time to do a few curb appeal projects that will spruce up your abode!
At Feazel, we love helping people fix up their homes, so if you have a bigger curb appeal project in mind (replacement windows, a new roof or gutters), we’re here to help YOU design your dream project.
If you want to do a cheaper curb appeal project this fall, we’ve got you on that too. Read on:
Update your entryway
Whether this looks like a new wreath or doormat, freshening up your entryway can make a big difference in your curb appeal. We love a nice fall wreath or funky doormat, as well as a fun bench or planters that flank your front door.
If you take a good look at your home, you might notice that your front door or shutters are looking a little dated – or faded. Fall is a fantastic time to give them a fresh coat of paint. Whether you choose a classic hue or go bold with a pop of color, your home will look fresh and modern.
Fall is such a beautiful season, with the leaves and wonderful harvest-themed items that are available. We suggest hitting up a farmer’s market for pumpkins, corn stalks, mums and other wonderful seasonal plants to add a natural touch to your home.
If your landscaping could use some attention, get it done this time of year! Is it new mulch, trimming bushes and hedges or maybe replacing a rock or retaining wall or planning some trees? Get it done and then you can enjoy your work come spring.
You probably already planned to clean up all the lovely leaves that will fall this fall, but you should also plan some time to power wash your walkways and siding (if you can) before the snow flies. This time of year, it is also great to clean windows as well!
At Feazel, we hope you have a safe and happy fall season!
