On August 22nd, Feazel hosted our Chip in Fore the Kids Golf Outing for the 2nd year in a row. A rainy, gray morning turned into a sunny day with endless support for the Kids. We were so proud to end the day with a $400,000 donation to two organizations in Central Ohio. 

We found a partner in A Kid Again for our first golf outing, last year. A Kid Again exists to foster hope. happiness, and healing for children with life-threatening conditions and their families. They provide monthly adventures - for free - to the zoo, sporting events, and local amusement parks to their enrolled families. A Kid Again has chapters in almost every market Feazel, Shanco, and Kearns Brothers are located. This year, we decided to add an additional benefactor to the golf outing, Nationwide Children's Hospital. Nationwide Children's Hospital is a nationally ranked pediatric care and teaching hospital located in Columbus, Ohio. Many of the A Kid Again families and many local Columbus and Ohio children have received care at Nationwide Children's Hospital. 

We kicked off the morning with a ceremonial Tee Off by an A Kid Again Family. This is a very special part of the day for the golfers and the kids - the kids love getting a chance to hit some golf balls and it is a great reminder of why we are doing what we are doing - and where the money raised is going. We were able to get in 18 holes through some sprinkles. After golf was completed, we had some friends from A Kid Again and Nationwide Children's Hospital to tell us a little about their organizations and the impact we were making. We ended the day with some delicious food and auctions to raise some more money for these incredible organizations 

While not everyone can make it to Columbus or out on the golf course for the outing - we wanted to thank you for continuing to serve your community and customers so well. It is because of the passion you put into your work every day that we as a company are able to give back in such a big way.
